The Stained Glass

A large stained glass bay window of Christ in Gethsemane dominates the chancel. The mural of Christ in the Garden is symbolic of all people in their time of seeking a place where they might call upon God. This chapel is intended as such a haven where you can draw closer to God.

Four stained glass windows - two on each side of the sanctuary - represent different faiths - Greek Orthodox, Roman Catholic, Jewish, and Protestant.

Two stained glass windows in the narthex represent:

On the turbulent seas of life the rugged hull is the symbol of the Church driven by the sail of infinite faith.

The hands before the Cross surrounded by golden light signify the hope and help that is ours through prayer and trust in God’s grace.
