Can people of different religious backgrounds be married here?
Yes. Schaeffer Memorial Chapel provides a ministry to people from all religious backgrounds. ALL are welcome.

May I have my own minister?
Yes. With prior approval another minister, priest or rabbi may perform your wedding ceremony. 

Is there a waiting list?
No. You reserve a day and time that best meets your needs. Weddings, however, are scheduled primarily on Saturday’s at 11am, 1pm, 3pm, 5pm, or 7pm.

 

How much time do I have for my wedding?
Two hours. We want you to have the full enjoyment of the Chapel and the surrounding Kingsway campus. The marriage service is about 20-25 minutes long.

How many people will the Chapel hold?
The Chapel will accommodate up to 100 guests. If you are planning for more guests, please contact the Church office for cost of renting the Kingsway Sanctuary.

How many attendants may we have?
Due to the size of the Chapel we recommend no more than (3) on each side.

Are we allowed to decorate the Chapel?
Yes. However, since the Chapel is so beautifully decorated already with exquisite antique stained glass windows, there is no need to bother with expensive decorations. 

Is there a bride’s room?
Yes. Not only do we provide a dressing room for the Bride and Bridesmaids, but one for the Groom and Groomsmen as well.
